My Journey
I am a dedicated researcher and educator currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction at Texas A&M University. My academic journey has been driven by a deep commitment to understanding and improving educational practices, particularly in the areas of ESL writing assessment, dynamic assessment, and literacy education.
With extensive experience spanning both higher education and K-12 settings, I bring a comprehensive perspective to educational research and practice. My work bridges the often-existing gap between theoretical research and practical classroom applications, ensuring that educational innovations translate into meaningful learning experiences for students.
Research Philosophy
I believe that education should be equitable, inclusive, and transformative. My research focuses on developing assessment methodologies that not only measure student learning but also promote it, particularly for English language learners who face unique challenges in academic settings.
